Poseidon Inductive Rechargeable Oral Irrigator Review
If you’re anything like me, you hate brushing your teeth. Ever since I was little, I never liked brushing or flossing, which is why I’ve had to deal with cavities and dental implants for as long as I can remember. Typically, after getting my teeth cleaned, I’ll start to take care of my mouth better, but after a while, I’ll get back into old habits and stop brushing as often as I should. When it comes to flossing, I do it very rarely, mostly because it hurts and I bleed all over the sink.
Recently, however, a friend of mine told me about oral irrigators. I had never heard of them, but I was intrigued. After doing a little research, I decided to get one for myself to see if it would help my oral hygiene routine. I chose the Poseidon Inductive Oral Irrigator, and I have to say that it has changed my life. If you’re someone who dreads the thought of floss, get this device.
Poseidon Oral Irrigator:
Charging Base
When looking at different flossers, I noticed that most of them either were battery powered or came with a cord. What I liked about the Poseidon Oral Irrigator, however, was that it came with a charging base. That way I can keep it right where it needs to be and never have to worry about the battery dying. Overall, the charge lasts more than long enough to get the job done, so I love the fact that I can use it all the time without ever worrying about replacing the battery or having to navigate around a cord.
Three Color-Coded Tips
Another interesting feature of the Poseidon is that it comes with three distinct flossing tips. When I first got the device, I played around with each of them to see which one worked best. I have to say that I was impressed with all three of them, although I like the precision tip most because it gets between my teeth much easier. Nonetheless, if you have implants or crowns like me, the three tips are necessary to get everything clean and healthy. They are also color coded, so you never get confused.
Three Pressure Modes
One of the biggest reasons I picked the Poseidon Inductive Rechargeable Oral Irrigator over other flossers was that it has three different pressure settings. Since not all of my teeth are natural, I have to be careful about using too much pressure around some of them, lest I damage a crown or loosen an implant. With this device, I can set the pressure to my preference, ensuring that I get the best results possible.
One-Year Limited Warranty
If you want to know how much a company stands behind its product, look at whether or not they offer a warranty. While a one-year warranty may not sound like much, it’s more than enough time to get a replacement flosser if something happens. If you use yours every day as I do (sometimes twice a day) you’ll find any issues right quick. Thankfully, however, I have never had any significant problems with my Poseidon.

FAQs
Q: Can I use this with mouthwash?
A: You can, but I find that it’s necessary to dilute it first to prevent excessive burning. I usually use one part mouthwash to two parts water.
Q: How do you know when it’s charged?
A: The blue light will stay solid when it’s fully charged. If it’s currently charging, the light will blink.
Q: How long does the pressure last?
A: About 20-30 seconds. After you get used to flossing this way, that should be enough time to get all of your teeth.
Final Verdict
Ever since I got the Poseidon Inductive Rechargeable Oral Irrigator, I have started to look forward to brushing and cleaning my teeth. I never thought that anything would make me like the experience, but I’ve begun to like the way the flosser feels, and I love the fact that I don’t have to worry about cavities or crowns anymore. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
